Benefit From Our Credibility

The Hamptons Home and Garden Show returns to Southampton for the eagerly awaited encore in May 2008. Now in its 4th successful year, this event has developed a well-earned reputation in the Hamptons community for providing a wide-selection of top quality home improvement ideas and solutions. Many Hamptonites have come to rely on this show as their most valuable source for meeting vendors—and wait until they peruse the Expo before locking into their Spring/Summer projects. To better help them with their buying process, we have expanded the Expo by 25% in 2008 and are now showcasing over 330 well-crafted displays. Well-respected and time efficient, The HHG Show is the only home improvement marketplace for buyers and sellers on the East End of Long Island.

Meet The Buyers At The Best Time
The first weekend in May proves to be the ideal time for the event as weekend homeowners are enthusiastically opening their home and locals want to beat the summer rush with their home improvement. As the first major event on the Hamptons 2008 social calendar, The HHG Show is perceived as the official opening of the Hamptons season. It’s a much welcomed harbinger of Summer and fruitful things to come. Benefit from this huge pent-up interest in locals celebrating the long-awaited arrival of 2008 Hamptons season by offering your products and services to them at the Expo.

Exhibit At The Ideal Location
Home improvement, remodeling, decorating and landscaping are how Hamptonites spend their money-especially in the Spring. So we’ve created an ideal setting in one of the most trafficked locations on the East End for you to showcase your company. It’s the only selling opportunity to meet face-to-face with thousands of very affluent Hamptons homeowners. The tent is just 70 feet off Route 27 in Southampton, with 30,000 vehicles passing by daily.

Meet Buyers With Substantial Discretionary Incomes
No other Home Expo in the Northeast has such a concentration of high property value homeowners and well-moneyed shoppers with huge discretionary income as this event. In fact, the Hamptons as a region boasts 6 of the 50 priciest zip codes in the nation, according to Forbes. The property value of the average attendee in 2007 was an impressive $1.2 million, with 25% living in 2+million homes. Best of all, 90% said they were conducting home improvement in the next 12 months. And their average budget was a whopping $65k, with budgets exceeding $100k not uncommon (17%). Exhibiting here guarantees you personal access to this elite buying group.

It's Three Events In One
The Hamptons Home & Garden Show is an umbrella event that features 3 separate yet intersecting dynamic components. We provide both business-to-business as well as business-to-consumer selling opportunities. The Hamptons Building and Remodeling Expo (B to B), the Hamptons Design and Décor Expo (B to C) and the GreenHamptons Pavilion (B to C) create a foundation that make the Hamptons Home & Garden Show a “must attend” for anyone thinking about home improvement.

The Hamptons Building & Remodeling Expo

It’s the one event that spans across and brings together at one time several separate trade association members, such as LIBI, NARI, NKBA, AIA, etc. Exhibitors in this Expo will be sectioned off on the Expo floor so as to provide their own identity and selling environment...more info

Let Our Huge Media Blitz And Eager Press Participation Work For You
In 2007, an unprecedented 20 media companies teamed up with us to sponsor and promote the event—from print and TV to web, radio, direct mail and billboards. Their full support in advertising and covering the event in advance (with 12+ million gross impressions generated) helped create a massive buzz and much anticipation throughout the Manhattan to Montauk corridor. In 2008, even more media are expected to sign on and pump up The HHG Show. Remarkably, they all agree on one thing- The HHG Show is the place to be the first weekend of May.

We Treat Attendees (And Exhibitors) Like Stars
Our attendees are economically privileged, boasting substantial discretionary income. Such, we treat them like special guests. Upon entrance, attendees are handed a colorful Show Magazine, Show Program and are then treated to free coffee, water, wine tasting, interior design consulting and an assortment of how-to seminars. Our VIP guests (and all exhibitors), at selected times, have access to the much coveted VIP Tent where they are greeted by servers offering free food, beverages and liquor. It’s the perfect setting for local fund-raiser and the place “to see and be seen”. In 2007, The Sopranos
Dr. Melfi, Lorraine Bracco, bartended her own line of wine as she raised money for No Place Like Home Foundation. Attracting the well-heeled including the “south of the highway set”, our gracious hosting sets the stage for a fun and memorable shopping experience. A happy attendee is an eager buyer.

Your Choice of Indoor or Outdoor Space — totaling 75,000 square feet
Indoor - The goal is to separate the types of products and services inside the tent into 3 basic category areas—Design and Décor, in the north portion of the tent, Building & Remodeling in the south portion and the GreenHamptons Pavilion in the east portion. It makes it easier for attendees to locate a product area and creates a more suitable selling environment for the vendors. Many vendors will, however, be able to fit into either category. The Exhibitor entrance of the tent is 9’ high x 10’ wide. Booths are all 8’ deep and 10’ wide (your storefront), and include a 6’ decorated table, 2 chairs, wastepaper basket, pipe and drape (8’ back and
3’ sides). A limited number of 10’ x 10’ booths are also available.

Outdoor - Completely fenced in, this sizeable 33,000 sq/ft. grass Expo is adjacent to the tent, just behind the indoor theater. To help drive buyers outside, we have strategically placed the restaurant, food seating areas, special displays/attractions and the VIP Tent within the Outdoor Expo. Exhibitor booth sizes are divided into 10’ x 10’, 10’ x 20’, 20’ x 20’, 20’ x 30’ units. All the 10’ x 10’ and 10’ x 20’ spaces include their own private tent enclosures. For the larger booths, private tents are optional and available for rent.
